Please check your Spam Folder as sometimes the email will go into your Spam Folder. If you do not receive the email, please email us prior to your arrival date as sometimes guests have put in an incorrect email address during the booking process by mistake.

Please let us know when you make your reservation if you will be travelling without a mobile phone and/or access to email so that we can make other arrangements for check in with you.

Check In is from 1pm onwards and Check Out is by 10am.

Yes. If you are arriving prior to 1pm, please let us know. We can sometimes prioritise the cleaning of your apartment to allow for an earlier check in. If your apartment is not ready for you if you do arrive early, you are welcome to park your car onsite and come back later.

No. I am sorry but we do not agree to late check out requests. We appreciate your understanding by checking out no later than 10am. This is to allow us sufficient time to clean the apartment to a high standard prior to the arrival of the next guest.

No. We require a deposit (100% of first night) to be paid when making a reservation to secure your booking. If you do not have a credit card, I recommend that you phone us to make a booking ( +64 27 928 2072 ). We can arrange for you to pay the deposit via a direct credit to our bank account. Please Note: This is applicable for New Zealand Guests Only.

Yes, you have Free Cancellation up to 14 days prior to arrival: i.e. your deposit paid will be fully refunded. Please note that our Terms and Conditions are the same regardless of which website you book through.

No. Our apartments/units are self contained and are Not Serviced. For longer stay guests, replacement towels, linen and other stock items are provided on request.

The Treetops and The Palms are our luxurious individual cedar chalets. The Suite is located on the ground floor of our home. All apartments have their own private entrance and deck with a BBQ (Barbeque).

The Treetops and The Palms have air conditioning. The Suite has pedestal fans

The Treetops and The Palms have a double spa bath as well as a separate shower in the ensuite. The Suite has a shower only in the ensuite.

The Treetops and The Suite have the highest ocean / sea view. The Palms also has a lovely view of the water although from a lower vantage point.

The Treetops has 32 stairs and The Palms has 18 stairs from the car park up to the entrance door. The Suite has no stairs from the car park to the entrance door.

Yes. The Suite is located on the ground level of our home. The car park is on the same level as The Suite so there are no stairs at all.

The Treetops and The Palms are spacious studio apartments with 1 king bed and sleep 2 persons in each apartment. The Suite is a one bedroom apartment with a super king bed in the bedroom, a sofa bed in the living area and sleeps a maximum of 3 persons in the apartment. Our property is not suitable for children under 12 years of age; this includes babies and toddlers.

Yes. All of our apartments have cooking facilities and a bathroom ensuite, as well as a BBQ (Barbeque) on your own private deck.

No. We do not have Sky TV. We do have Netflix which is a TV streaming service where you can select a movie of your choice to watch in your own time.

Yes. We have Free WiFi with an unlimited data allowance and are connected to Fibre.

Yes. There is a Guest Laundry on the ground level of our home for guest use. There is an automatic washing machine, a clothes dryer, as well as complimentary laundry powder available. Each apartment has a clothes drying rack in the wardrobe for your "delicates" that you may not want to dry in the clothes dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board.

Yes. Each apartment has one car space for parking onsite. There is no additional charge for parking on-site.

Parking is limited to one car space per apartment. We have had previous guests who have parked a jet ski or a small boat in their car park space and then parked their car on the road alongside our property which has free all day parking.

Our road / street is very quiet. We are located in the “No Exit” end of Bayview Road and as such, traffic is limited to local vehicles: i.e. there is no through traffic.

Abri Apartments is located 0.5klms from the main shopping street where you will find many restaurants and cafes to choose from as well as shops to browse through. Walking distance is 3 minutes to the shops and 5 minutes to the Paihia Wharf.

Yes. The bus terminal is in Central Paihia. If you let us know what time you will be arriving, we will be happy to pick you up from the bus terminal.

No. The Bay of Islands Airport is located in Kerikeri, 25 minutes drive by car. There is an airport shuttle taxi which meets all incoming flights. I recommend that you make a forward booking through Kerikeri Taxis and Airport Shuttle Service Or you may like to arrange to pick up a rental car from the airport through one of the rental companies located in Kerikeri.
